About Us:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Plumber to join our team at a leading hospital facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a mechanical and commercial plumbing background to support essential services and ensure the smooth running of hospital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the hospital, including plumbing and mechanical systems.
  • Respond promptly to emergency call-outs to ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations.
  • Work closely with hospital facilities teams to resolve any plumbing or mechanical issues.
  • Perform regular inspections, repairs, and upgrades of plumbing systems, including water supplies, drainage, and gas systems.
  • Assist with non-plumbing related tasks where needed, such as basic maintenance and repairs in other building services areas.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in commercial plumbing and a mechanical background (essential).
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check cleared and up to date.
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital site.
  • Comfortable with being on-call for emergency plumbing needs.
  • Ability to work on both planned and reactive tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
