We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Engineer based at one of our established clients based in a village just outside Daventry. This is a Monday-to-Friday role.

Salary: 25,000.00 to 28,000.00 per year (depending on experience)

Ongoing overtime available at a time and a half

37 1/2 hour week - half an hour lunch

Responsibilities include
  • Repair and Service of domestic machines daily within our workshop.
  • Work in conjunction with the field-based service team to ensure timely and quality repairs of high-end domestic coffee machines.
  • To provide clear and concise documentation of repairs and the processing of machines, customer details, and test procedures
  • Fault diagnosis, repair and completion of relevant paperwork for each job
  • Maintenance and accuracy of stock and parts used or required
  • Opportunity to learn and develop skills and work on maintaining and servicing traditional machines.
  • Full on-site product training will be given in-house to an experienced engineer/technician with a similar background
  • Required experience and skills Essential
  • Workshop repair experience
  • Some electrical testing/repair experience
  • Knowledge of working on electrical or electronic consumer items or domestic appliances
  • Basic knowledge and experience in working with computers
  • Dexterity and good eyesight is a must
  • Willing to learn and have a positive attitude to learning
  • Full product training will be given to an enthusiastic candidate who has worked in a similar background.
