Simply Education regularly needs a Cover Supervisor in the Daventry area. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising students in the absence of their teacher and supporting their learning and development.
This role involves responding to daily, short-term, and long-term bookings within secondary schools in the Daventry area. Many of the bookings are arranged in advance; for example, we may contact you on a Friday to offer work on specific days for the following week.
Job Requirements:
Eligibility to work in the UK
Strong classroom management skills
A formal qualification such as a British Bachelor's or Master's Degree is essential, although previous experience in a classroom environment would also be considered.
Willingness to undertake various cover days within different schools throughout the week
Passion for teaching and education
A creative approach to teaching
Flexibility and adaptability
Commitment to supporting students in their learning
Ambition and drive to become an outstanding classroom practitioner
Excellent communication and lesson delivery skills
A strong work ethic
All work will be pre-set, and your role will involve delivering these lessons to class sizes of up to 30 students.
