TXM are excited to be collaborating with a clientdoingmaintenance, repairs, diagnostic and servicing on a fleet of HGV's.

Our client is looking for candidates who are experienced in Rail, HGV, PSV or a similar industry carrying out hands on work with various components such as body panels, Engine or larger components.

Role Responsibilities:
Inspection and Diagnostics: Regularly inspect vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.

Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and suspensions.

Electrical and Fault-Finding Work: Troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, and control modules to resolve issues.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with legal standards and conduct necessary safety checks.

Record-Keeping: Document all inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks for compliance.

Adaptation to New Technology: Stay updated on emerging vehicle technologies, especially for electric and hybrid HGVs.

What we need from you:
  • Technical Qualification or proven experience of repairing and maintaining vehicles LCV / HGV Technical / Mechanical Engineer qualifications, 2 or 3 NVQ level, IMI Level or City & Guilds.
  • The ability to work under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems and having the flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks are all key attributes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively within your team and manage internal relationship to deliver required information in a timely clear manor.
  • All works must be accurate and consistent adhering to all processes and procedures.
  • HGV Class I would be a benefit.
