Our client, a reputable Van and Truck dealership selling new and used commercial vehicles and provide after sale servicing, is seeking for a Night shift HGV Technician and Day shift HGV Technician to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced HGV Technician. The job will entail diagnostic work, defects, MOT preparation, general maintenance and servicing of a large customer base, made up of units & trailers.
Role: Night shift HGV Technician
Salary: Up to £ 53 664 per annum
Hours: Mon to Thu or Tue to Fri nights 6pm to 6am
Location: Daventry
Role: Day shift HGV Technician
Salary: £ 44 000 - £49 000 per annum
Hours: 4 days on 4 days off /4 days on 3 days off
Location: Daventry
Requirements for HGV Technician:
- Technical Qualification or proven experience of repairing and maintaining vehicles LCV / HGV Technical / Mechanical Engineer qualifications, 3 NVQ level, IMI Level or City & Guilds.
- The ability to work under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems and having the flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks are all key attributes.
- Ability to communicate effectively within your team and manage internal relationship to deliver required information in a timely clear manor.
- All works must be accurate and consistent adhering to all processes and procedures.
- HGV Class I would be a benefit.
