Chemistry Analyst

Full training will be given.

Temporary, Initially until end of March 2026.

Role is Tuesday to Saturday

The lab analyses of Environmental samples accredited to ISO/IEC17025. The team analyses environmental samples for inorganic analysis by a range of different techniques and instrumentation. The lab has a high sample throughput.

The role will be based in Starcross.

You will demonstrate the key capabilities of communication, customer focus, decision making, delivery of work, planning, problem solving and teamwork.

Common techniques used:

ICP-MS

AAS

Ion Chromatography

Continuous Flow

Colour Chemistry

Wet Chemistry Techniques

BOD

COD

You will be involved in sample preparation, and the analysis of samples, together with some hands on analysis. You will be involved in reporting results.

Person:

Available to start within 4 weeks.

Chemistry Degree or closely related. Or A level Chemistry

Ideally already local to Exeter.
