Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Workshop Assistant to join a well-established manufacturer who specialisie in marine propulsion systems.
Key Responsibilities:路 Loading and unloading deliveries and containers using a forklift. 路 Moving large/heavy items around the factory floor with a gantry crane or forklift. 路 Cutting large materials (metal shaft bars/tubes) with a band saw, ready for machining. 路 Checking deliveries against delivery notes and reporting any damage or missing items. 路 Packing orders into wooden crates and securing lids using a hand drill. 路 Assisting with various tasks on the workshop floor as required. Requirements:路 A proactive, hands-on attitude. 路 A willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities. 路 Experience with forklifts and cranes is an advantage, but not essential. Desirable Backgrounds:路 A great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in engineering. 路 Ideal for individuals with an ex-military, mechanical, or warehouse background looking to settle into a role they can master and grow within.
