Trade Counter Salesperson

Simon Acres Group are excited to be working with a well established Builder's merchant in Kent area, seeking a Trade Counter Representative to join their friendly team.

Salary: Paying between £24,000 and £25,000 plus generous discretionary bonus scheme.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing excellent level of customer service to a wide variety of customers;
• Build first class relationships with customers both over the telephone and face to face, whilst maintaining excellent customer service;
• Provide customers with quotes, follow-ups and to pro-actively develop sales;
• Meeting and greeting customers into store and at the trade counter;
• Processing relevant paperwork;
• Obtaining stock for customer orders;
• Providing verbal and email quotes for customers;
• Dealing with face to face, telephone and email enquiries;

Requirements to candidate:

• Enthusiasm, hardworking nature and a positive attitude;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Experience of a similar role desired however full training will be provided;
• Driven to achieve high standards;
• Ability to communicate at all levels professionally;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Good organisational skills;
• Ability to work as a member of a close knit-team;
• Knowledge of the local market;
• Excellent communication skills;
