Progress Teachers are working to appoint a dedicated and knowledgeable Learning Support Assistant to support a local mainstream secondary school in ensuring the best provision possible for pupils across KS3-KS4 with varying SEN.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting class teachers / the SENDCO with day-to-day tasks
  • Following the school’s rules and implementing the school’s ethos and values
  • Being enthusiastic and promoting high expectations for pupils
  • Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups
  • Attending CPD to help you develop professional tools necessary to support a range of pupils with diverse SEN or SEMH requirements.
  • Building and maintaining a positive relationship with students, whilst being a resilient character
  • Looking after student’s physical, social, and emotional welfare
