Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Management Accountant, for a key manufacturing Client based near to the Chester area, with good network links from M53, M56, A55. This permananet position, is based with an established finance team and offers a great working environment.

This role will take ownership of the management accounts. This includes weekly profit and loss reporting, managing the month end processes and reconciliations of the management accounts. Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Production of the management accounts
  • Provide variance analysis
  • Effective business partnering with key stakeholders, to aid management advice and effective budget management
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Entries coded and assigned to the correct cost centre
  • Support the introduction of purchase orders for suppliers
  • Ensure a robust purchase to pay, accounts receivable and payments processes
  • Support the finance management team and wider business, ensuring robust financial systems and processes
  • Ensure that reporting provided to the business unit team is timely & accurate
  • Produce value-added analysis to support continued growth across the organisation

Skills/Experience:

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Great communication skills
