Our client has been established for over 40 years and has become the largest and leading UK distributor of promotional workwear and leisure clothing. With a head office in North Wales and operations across Europe, the business offers a diverse range of products and operates within a fast-growing industry. They are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team and report to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor.
The main tasks/areas of responsibility to include:
- Process stock invoices, reconciling to delivery and purchase order
- Deal with invoice discrepancies
- Handle supplier enquiries via telephone and email
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Process bi-weekly payment runs
- Ad hoc finance and administration tasks
Required skills / Experience
- Relevant purchase ledger / finance experience in a previous role
- AAT qualification or equivalent would be an advantage
- Experience of accounting software, preferably SAGE
- Excellent organisational skills
- The ability to work to monthly deadlines
This is an onsite role, please do not apply if you live out of the area as remote working is not available.
The hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and Fridays 8.30pm - 2.30pm
