Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking a full-time Finance Assistant to join their team. Salary: Up to 28,000

Location: Deeside

Hours: Monday-Friday, office hours

Duration: Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily uploads from bank accounts, handling small value but high volume transactions.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and customer accounts on a daily basis.
  • Investigate and resolve unidentified customer receipts when possible.
  • Conduct reconciliations and reporting for open items.
  • Process purchase invoices and set up new supplier accounts.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Facilitate bank payments and authorisations.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Proficiency in processing data accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Competence in using accounting systems and spreadsheets.
  • Strong numeracy skills and the ability to process information quickly.
  • Effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Clear and concise communication, both orally and in writing.
  • IT literacy, particularly with office-based software packages.

Experience in using integrated computerised accounts systems, posting bank transactions, customer account transactions, and working in an accounting environment will be beneficial.
