Job Summary

Join us as we launch our new facility in Deeside! We are seeking skilled and reliable Production Operators to be part of the inaugural team at our cutting-edge site. You will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining machinery that converts paper into finished consumer products. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our new operation from day one.

Training Opportunity

As one of the first operators, you will have the opportunity to train at our sister factory in Italy. This hands-on training will immerse you in our cutting-edge machinery and processes, providing you with invaluable insights and skills. Additionally, you will work closely with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), receiving specialised training directly from the experts who designed and built the state-of-the-art equipment. This unique experience will equip you with the expertise needed to excel in your role and advance your career within our company.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor the production process to ensure product quality and consistency. Make necessary adjustments to machinery to maintain optimal performance
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery
  • Consistently quality checking products to ensure there are no defects tomeetquality standards.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and records
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth operation and a consistent workflow.
  • Efficiently operating machinery used in the converting process to produce high quality products.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous experience in operating / setting machinery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ideally would have worked in the paper industry or a BRC accredited factory
  • A positive attitude towards learning and development

Working hours:

This role will be a shift-based position however during the start up face you will likely be working on days.
