Job Summary
Join us as we launch our new facility in Deeside! We are seeking skilled and reliable Production Operators to be part of the inaugural team at our cutting-edge site. You will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining machinery that converts paper into finished consumer products. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our new operation from day one.
Role Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor the production process to ensure product quality and consistency. Make necessary adjustments to machinery to maintain optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery
- Consistently quality checking products to ensure there are no defects to ensure that it meets quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production logs and records
- Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth operation and a consistent workflow.
- Efficiently operating machinery used in the converting process to produce high quality products.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Previous experience in operating / setting machinery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ideally would have worked in the paper industry or a BRC accredited factory
- A positive attitude towards learning and development
Working hours:
This role will be a shift-based position however during the start up face you will likely be working on days.
