The Role

Do you have strong experience in operating Bobst or similar gluing machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are seeking a Finishing Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating gluing machines, ensuring smooth production runs and meeting output and quality targets.

Please note, this is a part-time weekend role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make ready Bobst Gluing machine
  • Producing a range of carton work including straight-line crash lock and 4/6 corner
  • Starts gluing run and ensures that the process runs smoothly, achieving output and quality performance targets in line with standard operating procedures
  • Carry out planned operator maintenance
  • Working with automation, robot cells

The Person

  • Glue machine experience (Bobst/Jagenberg)
  • Understanding of Print Industry, processes and equipment
  • Manufacturing experience (essential)
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Able to use own initiative and demonstrate input into continuous improvement initiatives
  • Be a confident team player
  • Good communication skills.
