Flexible People Ltd are seeking motivated and reliable self-employed delivery drivers to join our team, delivering parcels across the Chester area in a 3.5t transit van. This role involves handling 120-150 drops per shift, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
The start time is 11.00am, typical shift length is 9 hours.
The company operate Monday to Friday, but one working day at the weekend will be expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering parcels to various locations in the area.
- Managing a route of 120-150 drops per day.
- Ensuring parcels are handled and delivered safely and securely.
- Maintaining communication with the dispatch team throughout the shift.
- Adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle suitable for parcel delivery.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
- Willingness to participate in drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Knowledge of the Southampton area is a plus.
- Pay rate:£16.66 per hour (based on a 9 hour shift)
- Van Hire:£230.00 per week (if required)
