DCT Recruitment are seeking an experienced Piping site technician to join our team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project.
Responsibilities:
Plan daily piping activities, assign tasks to team members, and coordinate with other departments and subcontractors on-site.
Review and interpret piping isometric drawings, plans, and blueprints to ensure correct installation according to specifications.
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve any design discrepancies or field modifications.
Supervise, monitor, and direct the activities of piping teams, subcontractors, and any other personnel involved in piping installation.
Monitor work progress and provide daily updates to the relevant engineer and manager on task completion, issues encountered, and adjustments needed.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
Experience working on large-scale construction projects in sectors like oil and gas, water treatment, power, or heavy industry.
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferable.
Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Valid equivalent CSCS Card.
