Imagine working in a dynamic environment where you communicate daily with Sales Managers, manage customer interactions, and collaborate with various departments to meet customer needs.

As Customer Service Account Manager, your role will involve handling enquiries, managing stock requirements, liaising with purchasing, and ensuring clear communication of lead times. You’ll also develop close relationships with key clients and resolve customer complaints efficiently.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Communicate daily with Sales Managers to handle general enquiries regarding key accounts.
  • Manage customer interactions via telephone and email to understand stock requirements and forecasts.
  • Liaise with the purchasing department regarding customer forecasting and raw material requisitions.
  • Monitor aged stock for both the customer and Saica Flex.
  • Collaborate with Production to keep customers updated on orders and dispatches.
  • Ensure clear communication of lead times to all departments to meet customer requirements.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer care, developing close relationships with key clients.
  • Efficiently identify and resolve customer complaints.
  • Provide bespoke data reports for customers or colleagues as required.
  • Work with Finance to ensure customer accounts are up-to-date and queries are resolved.
  • Promote the business and its expertise to support sales activity.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments to maintain a clear and concise process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • SAP knowledge is preferable, but training will be provided.
  • Previous customer service experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in telephone and email communication with customers.
  • General office administration experience and the ability to work closely with other departments.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work proactively on own initiative and collaboratively with a team.
  • High attention to detail and analytical thinking for problem-solving.
