- Lead and oversee the design and analysis of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys, providing expert advice on site conditions and structural integrity.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports, and drawings.
- Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure the highest standards of health and safety in all projects.
- Chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE, IStructE) or nearing chartership
- Proven experience in structural engineering, ideally in both design and site-based roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience designing reinforced concrete, steelwork, masonry and timber
- Experience of site supervision
- Competitive salary, ranging from £45,000 to £65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
