Senior Electrical Project Engineer Deeside Plant Based Days Role - £53-64k + 10% pension contribution + quarterly bonus + 28 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced, electrically biased Senior Project Engineer to work on a large plant in the Deeside area. The Senior level Project Engineer role will suit someone with heavy industry experience.

Key aspects of the Senior Electrical Project Engineer role include

  • Prepare detailed governance structure, project plans and progress reports
  • Leads and manages a team of Project Engineers, Design Engineers and contractor employees
  • Development of detailed engineering requirements and specifications for plant/process improvements with supporting risk assessments, management of change documentation, process safety considerations and hazard/operability considerations (HAZOP).
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of the drawing office team and the project support team
  • Strong project management skills (ideally PRINCE2) company will arrange for you to attend PRINCE2 training if required
  • Degree qualification strongly preferred
  • Experience in the planning and implementation of capital projects, along with experience in the management and control of external contractor personnel is desirable.
  • Successful Senior Electrical Project Engineer should be able to demonstrate excellent budget management skills
  • Demonstrate excellent Health, Safety and Environmental Management & Legislation knowledge
  • The company will also cover professional body subscriptions and will also encourage and support team members to gain Chartered status.
  • Salary range of £53-64k includes an uplift of a set amount of prepaid annual overtime hours
  • Officially the hours are 8.30am-4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-3.45pm on a Friday, but Engineers often start earlier and finish earlier so theres some flexibility.
  • The site is going through a large phase of investment and offers team members a generous package including a quarterly bonus scheme which, if hit, pays quarterly, which could mean an extra £5-8kk per year on top of your basic.
  • They have welfare support for staff, employee discount schemes and have also recently amended salaries to help people adjust to increased personal costs.
