Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, an established Engineering Workshop in their search for a CNC Programmer based near Deeside.
For the successful CNC Programmer, our client is offering:
- £16.50 - £17.50 per hour Overtime available
- Days Role
- Temporary to Permanent
The role - CNC Programmer:
- Develop CNC turning programs for Featurecam/Mastercam for lathe operations based on engineering drawings/models and specifications
- Set up and operate CNC lathe to produce precision parts
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job
- Assemble and disassemble machine components as needed
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining
What our client is looking for in a CNC Programmer
- Must have experience in operating HAAS/HYUNDAI/BROADBENT machines. - ESSENTIAL
- Must have experience in programming using FeatureCam or MasterCam
- Proficiency in CAD software for creating or modifying part designs
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Proficiency in tooling selection, assembly, and fabrication techniques
- Experience with materials handling and inventory management in a warehouse setting
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Familiarity with logic controllers and programming languages used in CNC machines
- Knowledge of welding processes and techniques
