Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and Operating Machines: Set up and operate power presses, wire, and cutting machines efficiently and safely.
- Quality Control: Ensure that machines are producing high-quality products by performing regular checks and adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any issues that may arise with the machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine setter, particularly with power presses, wire, and cutting machines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts.
