Midlands SME contractor are looking for a freelance Site Manager as from 10th February until circa end July for the construction of a new high bay warehouse, conversion of an existing building as well as new offices etc. Reporting to the Project Manager you as the Site Manager will be working alongside another Site Manager you will primarily be responsible for overseeing all Site Manager duties on a day to day basis including the supervision for all subcontract labour packages, main duties will involve site inductions, management of health & safety, checking and ensuring all RAMS are completed and complied with, issuing of permits and ensuring that all CDM regulations are adhered to.
Ltd/CIS rates will be negotiable £250-£280 and PAYE £200 per day depending upon levels of experience
Working hours will be 7am-6pm with occasional Saturday working, CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates will be a mandatory requirement as without all of these no application will be consideredIdeal applications will previously and currently have been working for Tier 1/2 build contractors that have experience and a proven track record working on Distribution/Industrial units
