Job Title: Engineering Project Manager Location: Deeside Job Type: Contract Salary: Competitive (Discussed on first call)Reports To: Engineering Project Manager Engineering Project Manager Overview: Oversee projects to ensure capital funds are used effectively and in line with the business strategy and objectives.Engineering Project Manager Job Responsibilities: 路Lead the Project Engineering team in driving and supporting project delivery.路Prepare and present project approval documents for review, up to MD level.路Monitor and update spending forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and control.路Work closely with functions like Procurement and Legal to follow established procedures.路Ensure food safety, quality, and legal compliance.路Complete projects within the agreed scope, preventing scope creep.路Manage CAPEX budgets, ensuring alignment with individual project and overall department/site/company budgets.路Adhere to the EEM process for all projects.Engineering Project Manager Required Attributes:路Engineering qualification (Degree or equivalent - HND, HNC etc). 路Relevant safety certifications (e.g., SMSTS, FAAW, IOSH). 路Proficient in MS Office and standard engineering software. 路Project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, APM). 路Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a quick grasp of business processes and technical requirements. 路Experience in Engineering, Food, and/or FMCG industries. 路Skilled in budget management. 路Familiar with stage-gate project management methodologies.
