HV/LV Engineer – Team Leader – Deeside/Chester - £60-64k + Quarterly Bonus Scheme (up to 14% of salary) + 10% Employer Pension Contribution + Private Medical

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an HV/LV Engineer to a join a globally recognised manufacturing company with a large base in the Deeside / Chester area with responsibility covering all HV/LV infrastructure on site, ranging from incoming 33kV down to LV distribution systems.

Key aspects of the HV/LV Team Leader position include;

  • Leadership of a small, well experienced team of HV Technicians and Electricians
  • Management of specialist HV support contracts & cable jointing contractors
  • Is authorised to switch (33kV minimum) & is able to write switching schedules
  • Strong communication & leadership skills
  • The HV/LV Team Leader role will sit on the site electrical safety committee
  • Deliver annual “Safety Near Misses” training
  • Understanding of current legislation, including "Electricity at Work" regulations
  • Management of Health & Safety regulations
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Specify and conduct risk assessments
  • 35 days holiday per year including Bank Holidays
  • Annual pay review
  • Company is able to support an HV/LV Engineer looking to gain Chartered status
