Benefits: 28 Days Holiday, up to 9 discretionary days, + Bank Holidays + 2 week Xmas close (not affecting Annual Leave)Overview:Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Instructor Demonstrator in Plumbing to join the team at the Deeside site. This role involves delivering scheduled practical instruction and demonstrations to student groups, helping them develop essential plumbing skills and knowledge. You will collaborate with course coordinators and lecturers to structure activities and support students in achieving their learning goals. This role also includes monitoring student progress, assessing practical tasks, and maintaining accurate records.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver scheduled practical instruction and demonstrations to student groups
  • Work closely with course coordinators and lecturers to create a structured schedule of activities
  • Monitor student progress and assess their competence in practical tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
  • Assist with student reviews and help produce course results
  • Contribute to creating a caring and supportive learning environment
  • Maintain professionalism, student discipline, and promote attendance and punctuality
  • Actively participate in staff development activities
  • Support and uphold College policies on Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, and Quality
  • Take on additional duties assigned by your Line Manager to support the smooth operation of the department

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter
  • Demonstrate an understanding of current developments in the specialist area and ways of staying up-to-date
  • Recent industrial experience in plumbing or a related field
