2BM Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with our Engineering/Manufacturing client in Deeside who have a requirement for a permanent Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias , working Morning & Afternoon shifts weekly rotating. Job Details:

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer your job is to repair, maintain and install a variety of CNC and industrial machinery throughout the manufacturing plane. This includes undertaking a range of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical work as required to identify faults and repair issues in line with best practice and current H&S requirements. Ensure the works plant and equipment is maintained to the required standard to maximise availability, reliability, and efficiency and to ensure the health & safety of all colleagues. Providing prompt response and resolutions to breakdown inquiries, record all maintenance activity on the system and identify and source spares and equipment in a timely manner to reduce production down times. To perform other tasks to maintain the fabric of the building, fixtures and fittings, support equipment and electrical installations. You will have the knowledge and expertise to shut down equipment deemed to be in an unsafe condition and offer repair solutions whilst ensuring safety issues are given priority. Report any incident including near misses, unsafe working practise, or situations immediately to the production supervisor or site manager.

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills / qualifications / attributes:

Candidates should be City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent qualified in Electrical maintenance subjects. Applicants will also time served, or apprentice trained with industry experience as an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Engineer including experience of Electrical /Hydraulic /Pneumatic/ CNC controlled Machines and PLCs ideally. You will have the required skills and previous experience to successfully perform electrical installations, fault finding and commissioning of new equipment, plan preventative maintenance schedules and assist with maintenance projects. You will be a problem solver and team player with excellent IT and communication skills. You will also have the required skills to anticipate problems and promptly provide solutions whilst ensuring H&S and company procedures are always followed.

Your Pay & Benefits:

Electrical Maintenance Engineer, paying a highly competitive salary, shift allowance, bonus & premium overtime. Full time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, weekly rotating mornings, and afternoons - Monday to Friday 6am until 2pm & 2pm until 10pm.
