Exciting Opportunity for a Static Electrician!
Are you looking for a role where you can make a real impact? We are working with a fantastic client who is seeking a Static Electrician to join a team of 4 electricians at their Head Office and Depot in Deeside, near Chester.



The Role


As a Static Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring offices, depot, and associated facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Your expertise will help keep buildings and equipment safe, compliant, and operating efficiently.



What You'll Be Doing:


  • Maintaining and ensuring the safe operation of the office, depot, and associated facilities.

  • Conducting planned and reactive electrical maintenance to keep all infrastructure and equipment in top condition.

  • Managing maintenance, repairs, and installations related to electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Keeping comprehensive documentation for legal compliance.

  • Utilizing CMMS (Shire) to track and manage maintenance schedules.

  • Performing regular mandatory checks, including:

  • Electrical system inspections

  • Emergency lighting checks

  • Fire alarm testing

  • PAT testing

  • Building management systems

  • Installing new electrical equipment and systems as required.

  • Carrying out internal office moves and equipment setup, including conference/training room configurations.

  • Assisting the Facilities Manager with contract and budget management, ensuring minimal disruption and cost efficiency.

  • Continuously assessing electrical systems performance to optimize energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.

    What We're Looking For:


    • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, Health & Safety regulations, and relevant legislation.

    • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to make informed decisions and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

    • Team Player: Works well independently and as part of a dynamic team.

    • Communication Skills: Able to effectively communicate at all levels, both verbally and in writing.

    • Self-Motivated: Proactive and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic.

    • Attention to Detail: Logical thinker with a solution-focused approach.


    Qualifications & Experience:


    • Trade apprenticeship plus years of industry experience.

    • Proven ability in fault-finding and troubleshooting.

    • Full, clean UK driving licence.


    Preferred Qualifications (Not Essential, but a Bonus!):


    • BS 7671 18th Edition Electrical Regulations

    • 2391 Testing & Inspection Certification

    • PAT Testing Certification

    • IPAF 3a/3b Certification

    • Counterbalance FLT Licence
