HR and Recruitment Business Partner 

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR & Recruitment Business Partner to help our European client expand their engineering business into new markets across the UK, USA, Canada, and central Europe! 

  • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) 
  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent 
  • Location: Deeside, North Wales 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Lead recruitment activities up to manager level, ensuring KPIs are met and providing a first-class recruitment experience. 
  • Serve as the internal expert on UK employee relations, advising on policies and procedures, training managers, and handling complex matters such as TUPE and absence cases. 
  • Assist with international recruitment processes, predominantly into the US, Canada, and Germany. 
  • Collaborate closely with the People and Culture Director based in the European head office. 
  • Lead people-related training modules to upskill managers and ensure fair treatment of employees. 
  • Act as the company Safeguarding Lead, supporting reporting activities and leading a cross-business working group. 
  • Develop and improve on-boarding and induction processes with the HR & Payroll Manager. 
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, analysing data and collaborating with the People and Culture Director. 
  • Continually review and develop people-related documentation in line with company values. 
  • Champion collaboration and cross-departmental working as part of the management team. 

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications 

  • CIPD qualification. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment and HR matters with a proactive approach to continual learning. 
  • Prior experience in heading up Recruitment matters – Ideally from an International setting 
  • Significant experience managing complex employee relations matters, including consultation, disciplinary, absence management, and TUPE. 
  • Consultative approach to working with colleagues, providing advice and support in a coaching style. 
  • Ability to coach and train colleagues in people management modules. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft products and capable of using the new HR system, encouraging others to do the same.
