Job Description

  • Hours: Shift work, 6am- 2pm + 2pm-10pm (rotating shift pattern).

  • Industry: Life Sciences- Pharmaceutical drug development (GMP)

Join SGS and play a key role in manufacturing and packing high-quality drug products in a GMP-compliant environment. Work as part of a collaborative team to meet client and project requirements while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures to manufacture and pack finished drug products and intermediates.
  • Sampling and dispensing of materials according to documentation provided to maintain product integrity.
  • Production of drug product blends to exact specification, following batch manufacturing record instructions to ensure quality across batches.
  • Manually filling and packaging of drug product to exact specifications using torpacs, blister machines and any other equipment that may be required to ensure consistency of finished drug product.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve the production plan and project objectives.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed with accuracy and attention to detail, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience in a production operator role. You will also have the following; 

  • Experience in a GMP or production environment is preferred, but full training will be provided.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures accurately.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Secondary level education, particularly in English, Maths (Grace C and above).
