We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Driver to join our dynamic team based on Deeside Industrial Estate. As a Reach Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our facility, contributing to our overall operational success.
Salary £16.72 per hour, paid weekly at 11.5 hours per shift
4 on 4 off shift pattern - nights 6pm-6am
**Must be able to commence shift Friday 21st March and be able to attend pre assessment prior to first shift**
Duties
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Move products to designated areas within the warehouse, maintaining an organised workspace.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding inventory levels and operational needs.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and perform stock checks as required.
- Warehouse cleaning when quiet on the truck
Experience
- Previous experience as a Reach Truck Driver is required
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork and coordination.
- A valid personal licence is required. Note: we cannot take in-house licences
