Proactive Personnel are thrilled to be working with a thriving manufacturing business based in Deeside to recruit for a Import/Export Administrator to join their dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis.

The Import/Export Administrator will be responsible for liaising with third parties to ensure smooth movement of shipments so will require a strong understanding of export laws, regulations and trade agreements. Import/Export Administrator Duties -

  • Ensuring Import compliance requirements are met and Export documentation are in line with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Handling enquiries and resolving any issues.
  • License administration (register of exports, annual reporting, obtaining certifications & reviewing licenses)
  • Updating systems records and creating reports using data and statistics.
  • Approving manual shipments and freight invoicing.
  • Working closely with shippers, custom agents and freight forwarders.

Import/Export Administrator Requirements -

  • Strong knowledge of Import/Export laws and regulations.
  • Experience working with custom procedures and a good understanding of best practices.
  • Ideally experience with export licensing for both the UK and US.
  • Fantastic analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.
