Location :-Deeside- & some local North West travel (No offshore work required)
Salary:-Competitive salary (DOE)

Russell Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for TWO NDT Technicians to join our clients UKAS accredited Testing Service business in the Deeside area. This is a local Full time onsite based role with travel only around the Northwest regions, so there are no extensive travelling requirements for either of these positions.

Our client is open to candidates with the following skill sets.
UT (3.1 & 3.2)
Radiography testing
Phased Array UT (PAUT)
Eddy Current

Responsibilities
Conduct inspections on materials for various industries including Oil & Gas, petrochemical, aerospace, power and nuclear. Techniques that you will be conducting will include ultrasonic testing, Dye Penetration, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Radiographic and Eddy Current on a day-to-day basis.
Analyse and interpret NDT results- identifying any defects, crack and other issues and generate detailed reports which are clear and concise.
Adhere to industry regulations and safety standards.
Calibrate and maintain equipment.
Work closely with customers and be happy to travel locally in the Northwest.
Recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Stay up to date with industry developments and any regulatory changes.
Follow strict safety protocols.

The Person
Industrial based experience in at least one of the following- UT, Radiography, Phased Array or Eddy Current.
Previous experience in quality control and inspection.
Knowledge of corrosion testing
Experience of analysing and writing reports.
Full UK Driving license is a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
