You'll be the backbone of their IT operations, ensuring seamless connectivity and security and driving the technological growth that keeps their business at the forefront.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategize and Innovate: Develop the infrastructure strategy alongside the IT Operations Manager, staying ahead of tech trends to keep them competitive.
  • Ensure Resilience: Oversee the robust operation of their information systems, maintaining high security and swift responses to any threats.
  • Service Excellence: Collaborate with IT Operations to refine disaster recovery procedures and manage vendor relationships for maximum value.
  • Drive Change: Lead the change management process, ensuring all IT infrastructure modifications enhance the company's performance.
  • Lead with Passion: Inspire a customer service ethic within your team, providing top-notch support and fostering a knowledge-sharing culture.

Skills You'll Need:

  • Disaster recovery planning and testing
  • General and security policy definition and review
  • Contract negotiation (Hardware and Software)
  • Software licencing
  • Access and drive suitability for certifications such as CyberEssentials
  • Define roadmap for continual improvement, taking ownership of project work
  • Team Leadership and task management
  • Networking and VMware skills. Windows Server and Desktop OS configuration, including active directory configuration. O365 Administration and Azure Active Directory. Anti-Virus, Malware, IDS & IPS technologies, Security and Backup and disaster recovery technologies
  • Analytical Mindset: Your problem-solving prowess and commercial savvy will keep the IT operations sharp and efficient.
