We are seeking skilled Spray Painters for the professional painting of various wood-based products manufactured in our Deeside plant. The successful candidate should have experience within this type of work and be able to quality check to ensure there are no defects to new paintwork.You should be energetic, efficient and happy to work on your own initiative to get every job completed to the highest standard.Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning and smoothing them using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, and solvents
  • Select, match and mix colours
  • Apply primer coats, main coats and finishes
  • Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
  • Touch up paintwork where required
  • Working in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to the specific areas
  • Complete work from start to finish within set time frames
Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience as a Spray Painter
  • Skilled in the profession with a minimum of 3+years’ experience in a painter or sprayer role
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised
  • Keen to support others and a cooperative team player
  • The ability to maintain a consistent high standard whilst under pressure
  • Able to complete work from start to finish within the time frame given
  • Customer focused and team oriented
  • Possess knowledge of painting techniques and tools
  • Attention to detail
  • Physical stamina and strength
