Labour Hire are looking for an experienced LAND SURVEYOR for a well-established company in SHOTTON, DEESIDE.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a 4-6 year project at Shotton Paper Mill.

About You:

  • Methodical and diligent in approach to work.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, with an aptitude for solving problems.
  • Proactive and flexible attitude.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Good attendance and timekeeping.
  • Previous experience as a land surveyor, especially in large or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of survey equipment and related software.
  • Familiarity with survey regulations and safety standards.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • A degree or certification in land surveying or a similar field.
  • Experience with MEP projects is a plus, but not required.

About the Role:

  • Monday-Friday - 45 hours per week (potential for weekend work)
  • 7am - 5:30pm
  • Carry out land surveys for the Shotton Paper Mill project.
  • Use tools like GPS and total stations to take precise measurements.
  • Keep accurate records of your work and manage the data.
  • Make sure everything complies with safety and industry standards.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to deliver the best results.
  • Analyse maps, plans, and survey data to help guide the project.
  • Perform tasks like boundary and topographic surveys, as well as construction stakeouts.
  • Start: Subject to interview
