We are partnered with a leading Financial Planners based in Deeside, who are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring compliance and contributing to the smooth operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment: Reviewing client documents to assess AML (Anti-Money Laundering) risk and approving new accounts.

  • Client Reviews: Performing regular and special reviews on high-risk clients, updating their profiles with enhanced due diligence.

  • Training and Support: Answering AML-related queries from colleagues and conducting training sessions.

  • Decision Making: Making risk-based decisions to assign risk ratings to clients and ensuring that all necessary due diligence is documented and applied.

  • Data Management: Logging newly onboarded clients monthly and providing statistics for review by senior managers.

  • Regulatory Updates: Reviewing new regulations to integrate necessary changes into company processes.

  • Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities efficiently.

  • Excellent Communication: Capable of interacting professionally with advisers, clients, and providers, both verbally and in writing.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with FCA, AML, and KYC guidelines.
