Our client based in Deeside have a fantastic opportunity available for a Mechanical Engineer to join their on-site Engineering team. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual that is passionate about self -development.
They are looking for a skilled individual that is a proactive self starter with excellent communication skills and capable of working within a diverse and flexible team.

Responsibilities:
路 Providing specialist engineering support to the manufacturing production lines.
路 Responding to plant breakdowns with the Mechanical team, ability to diagnose faults efficiently to ensure the equipment is running again in a timely manner.
路 Using and developing your technical training to be involved in Root Cause Analysis, identify solutions to problems and implement solutions.
路 Conducting weekly/ bi-weekly and monthly routine work, such as routine inspections, corrective and preventative maintenance of plant and equipment.
路 Installation, overhaul and maintenance of heavy equipment.
路 The overhaul and repair of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components and assemblies when cost effective to do so, working to a high engineering standard.
Education Requirements:
Educated to HNC level or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Completion of a 4+ year Apprenticeship scheme
Skills and Experience Required:
路 Knowledge of Mechanical equipment, Pumps, Gearbox, Screens, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical Seals, etc.
路 Use of mobile Equipment to include Fork lift and M.E.W.P.鈥檚.
路 Ability to use Overhead cranes and good knowledge of Slinging and Lifting Techniques.
路 Effective Team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
路 Proficient in welding to include, MIG, TIG, ARC and the use of Plasma cutting equipment.
路 Knowledgeable in the use of Laser Alignment equipment for Parallel and off-set Alignments.
路 Knowledge of basic Machining techniques using Lathe and Milling machine.
路 Being a Self-starter and hard working with the ability to work as a team player and grow with the Business.
路 Ability to work in a changing environment with a flexible approach.
路 Good knowledge and understanding of health and safety.
