MECHANICAL SITE TECHNICIANDCT Recruitment are seeking for an experienced Mechanical site technician to join our team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project. Responsibilities:• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment on-site, including HVAC, plumbing, and machinery.• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently, utilizing technical knowledge and tools.• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.• Work closely with other site technicians, engineers, and contractors to coordinate tasks and optimise workflow.• Prepare and submit detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and potential improvements to management.• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.Qualifications:• NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is often preferred.• Relevant certifications, such as City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications in mechanical systems and maintenance.• Previous experience in mechanical maintenance or installation roles, preferably in a site or industrial environment.• Experience with specific equipment or systems relevant to the industry (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, machinery).• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.• Valid equivalent CSCS Card.To apply, please send your CV to or call on
