We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Site Engineer to join our clients team in North Wales
Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Lead Engineer and Technician teams, manage their activities for installation processes.
- Manage subcontractor teams, providing direction to ensure smooth progress in installation processes.
- Maintain site organization and optimize workflow efficiency throughout the installation process.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure steady workflow and project alignment.
- Quality Improvement:
- To guide regular quality inspections with Quality teams to ensure that installation work meets high-quality standards.
- Identify quality issues on-site, provide feedback to relevant teams, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide regular updates to engineers and managers, detailing project advancements, encountered issues, and resolution processes.
- Guide Quality teams for document completion of installation activities through inspection reports and testing records for project handover preparation.
- Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of installation processes and equipment specifications.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports for management on project status and outcomes.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in paper industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of machinery and installation processes.
- Knowledge of safety and quality control standards.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and critical thinking.

- Valid equivalent CSCS Card.
This is a contract role for around 18 months
