Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily installation operations, follow project plans, and organize necessary manpower, equipment, and resources.
  • Ensure installation activities align with project specifications, technical standards, and quality requirements.
  • Manage subcontractor teams, providing direction to ensure smooth progress in installation processes.
  • Maintain site organization and optimize workflow efficiency throughout the installation process.
  • To guide regular quality inspections with Quality teams to ensure that installation work meets high-quality standards.
  • Identify quality issues on-site, provide feedback to relevant teams, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve installation-related issues quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop solutions for on-site challenges.
  • Plan and track corrective actions in case of project deviations or errors.
  • Provide regular updates to engineers and managers, detailing project advancements, encountered issues, and resolution processes.
  • Guide Quality teams for document completion of installation activities through inspection reports and testing records for project handover preparation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure steady workflow and project alignment.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the installation of paper machines or similar heavy industrial equipment. Experience with Valmet paper machines is highly preferred.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferable.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Valid equivalent CSCS Card.
