Proactive Personnel are working with a thriving food manufacturing business based in Deeside to recruit a Process Development Technologist to join their well established team on a full time, permanent basis.

The Process Development Technologist will be responsible for monitoring safety, legality and quality issues with regards to raw materials, WIP and finished goods ensuring that all standards are being adhered to.

Responsibilities:

  • Self Assessments and Compliance Questionnaires for products.
  • Ensuring raw materials and suppliers are meeting internal and regulatory standards.
  • Creating new and trial product specifications, data sheets and process documents.
  • QMS documentation
  • Creating customer samples.
  • Running lab and production trials.
  • Delivering projects within deadlines whilst offering technical support to customers and suppliers.
  • Site compliance checks (label checks, QC checks etc..)

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience within a similar role, ideally within the food industry.
  • Ideally HACCP Level 3
  • The ability to work well within a team and independently
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise efficiently
