- DCT Recruitment is seeking an experienced Industrial Painting Site Manager Nights for the Shotton Paper Mill Project in Deeside.
- This temporary position is night shift-based and will last for 9-12 months.
- Candidates must have proven experience in industrial painting management, particularly with steel and glass surfaces, along with strong leadership skills.
- The role offers a salary of £400-£450 per day (CIS), with time and a half for weekend work.
- The successful candidate will manage on-site painting operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and high-quality work.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial painting, particularly with steel and glass surfaces. You will manage and oversee the painting operations on-site, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all industrial painting activities on-site at Shotton Paper Mill
Supervise painting teams, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site protocols
Coordinate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth project progression
Maintain accurate records of progress, materials, and labour on-site
Ensure proper use of equipment and materials for steel and glass painting
Inspect the quality of finished work and resolve any issues promptly
Manage and report any site issues or delays to senior management
Ensure team members have the necessary tools, equipment, and training for the job
Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all CSCS and safety standards are met
Experience and Skills Required:
Proven experience in industrial painting management, with a focus on steel and glass
Previous experience working on large-scale industrial projects
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
CSCS card is essential
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in industrial environments
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
Salary £400- £450 per day (CIS) Time and half weekends
Monday - Sunday, 19:00 - 07:00
First week will be on day shift.
