ICTUK is a leading tissue manufacturer committed to delivering outstanding quality products and services to our customers. As we expand with a new state-of-the-art facility in Deeside, we are seeking a dedicated QA Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining and developing our quality policy, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and leading continuous improvement initiatives that protect consumer safety and satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support in the deployment and development of the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Participate in the internal audit programme and provide assistance during external audits
  • Oversee packaging development projects.
  • Implement and handle certification schemes, ensuring all standards are met.
  • Investigate and manage customer and consumer complaints, including drafting responses and managing databases.
  • Act as a point of contact with customers on product specifications.
  • Generate and modify process documentation.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Familiarity with packaging development.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Possess a strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Strong Microsoft IT skills.

Desired knowledge and Skills

  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Ideally would have previous experience in tissue production processes, or converting operations.
  • Some NPI / NPD experience would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of BRCGS standard and legal requirements.
