Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated English teacher looking to inspire the next generation?
We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to join our dynamic team at a high school in Flintshire. You will be teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, helping them build strong language skills, fostering a love for literature, and preparing them for their GCSEs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with the curriculum
- Provide a supportive learning environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage students in the subject matter
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with other teachers
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed
- Maintain a positive and motivating classroom atmosphere
Qualifications & Skills:
- A relevant teaching qualification (QTS)
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum for KS3 and KS4
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- A commitment to student development and well-being
- Experience in teaching English at KS3 and KS4 is preferred, but not essential
