Reed Education North Wales are working with a Secondary school in Flintshire and are currently recruiting for an English Teacher on a full time basis to teach English to key stage 3 and 4. This role is due to start October 2024 and is long term to cover a maternity leave. The successful candidate will have a passion for English and be committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for our students.

Responsibilities:

Teach English to students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced levelPlan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate studentsDevelop and implement a English curriculum that meets the needs of students and the schoolAssess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parentsKeep up-to-date with the latest developments in English education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into teaching practice where appropriateFoster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalentRelevant degree or diploma in English education or related fieldProven experience teaching English to students of all ages and abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamStrong organisational and time-management skills
