Your new companyHays is working alongside a Secondary School in Deeside, seeking an Art Teacher to start ASAP and continue until the end of the academic year. This school is easily accessible and has a well established art department with excellent modern facilities, equipment and significant support. They are well respected locally and pride themselves on their supportive and high-achieving English department.Your new roleJoining this Art department, you will be responsible for teaching Art across KS3 and KS4. You will work closely with other department colleagues developing resources and lesson planning as a team. You will plan and prepare lessons, deliver these, creating a positive learning environment, and you will also mark and assess pupils' work. Due to this being a long-term assignment, you will be required to attend parents' evenings and additional school functions.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience teaching Art across KS3 and KS4.
