Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a permanent Electrical Project Engineer for a civils contractor in North Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring top-tier safety standards.
  • Assemble, develop, and monitor a competent team.
  • Manage design, procurement, manufacturing, and installation processes.
  • Chair and document internal and external meetings.
  • Support procurement of subcontractor packages.
  • Manage third-party involvement and project risk.
  • Produce reports and maintain documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with O&M manuals, safety agreements, and quality plans.
  • Maintain communication with clients and design teams.
  • Monitor site progress and resolve issues efficiently.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong technical electrical knowledge (IEE or BS 7671 compliance).
  • Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3+, CSCS card, SMSTS).
  • Experience with NEC contracts and water utility projects.
  • Ability to manage construction sites, subcontractors, and budgets.
  • Proficiency in IT and construction planning tools.
  • First Aid certification and CDM regulations knowledge.
