Once the implementation is successfully completed, this role will transition into HR Systems Specialist, where you will take ownership of the new system, ensuring it is continuously developed, maintained, and optimised to support the organisation's ongoing HR and Payroll needs.

  • Lead on data migration, ensuring high levels of accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Payroll, Finance, ICT) and external providers to gather requirements and align system configurations to business needs.
  • Drive automation opportunities and maximise system functionality to improve reporting and processes.
  • Manage system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), resolving any issues that arise.
  • Provide leadership to the project team, offering training and mentorship where needed.
  • Regularly report project milestones, risks, and updates to senior stakeholders.

Post-Implementation:

  • Take ownership of the HR and Payroll system as the HR Systems Specialist.
  • Ensure the system is continually maintained, developed, and aligned with business processes.
  • Support and train internal users, acting as the go-to expert for the platform.
  • Develop system reporting and dashboards to inform decision-making and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to maximise system functionality and drive continuous improvements.
  • Troubleshoot issues, liaise with system providers, and implement solutions as needed.

About You

  • At least 3 years' experience in a project management role.
  • Experience in system configuration, testing (UAT), and system-to-system data migration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and deliver under tight deadlines.
