Key Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and be able to read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • The role will entail the fitting, assembly and testing of a wide array of assemblies. The scope of work will cover relatively straightforward tooling through to complex mechanical assemblies with associated hydraulic systems.
  • The size of projects will vary from items which can be handled manually up to and including larger assemblies which require specialised lifting and handling equipment.
  • Working closely with the Project Engineering team, you will be responsible for meeting the customer requirements as defined by their specification and testing requirements.
Key Skills
  • Manual machining and mechanical assembly experience.
  • Experience of working with a wide range of assemblies in size and weight.
  • Experience of working to tight tolerances.
  • Understanding of the need to work to procedures and specifications.
